Manuel graduated in France in 2001 and worked in Strasbourg until he emigrated to Aotearoa and joined Architectus in 2005. He was appointed an Associate in 2016 and Senior Associate in 2021. He has more than 15 years’ experience New Zealand industry across a diverse work portfolio with a focus on education, public, infrastructure, aviation and commercial projects.

Manuel has extensive knowledge and experience in design development, documentation, coordination of project consultants and on-site project administration. He has been involved in the delivery of a wide range of large, complex and award winning projects. He played a key role in the redevelopment of the University of Auckland’s B302 Science Centre, and is currently involved in the Auckland Airport Redevelopment project.

Manuel has a keen interest in the integration of BIM from project inception through to delivery via BIM co-ordination and clash detection. Manuel’s knowledge and expertise in this sector has been crucial for the projects he has been involved in across the practice with BIM playing an increasingly important role in the project design and delivery.
