Severin Soder

Severin is a Principal in the Auckland studio. His design approach is led by enquiry into site, context, brief and typology and informed by his background and experience gained locally and internationally.

Originally from Austria, Severin graduated in Innsbruck and completed postgraduate studies at The Bartlett School of Architecture in London. His design research has been honoured by the Austrian Federal Chancellery with the Outstanding Artist Award for Experimental Tendencies in Architecture in 2000.

Work experience abroad includes positions at SOM and Future Systems in London, Feichtinger Architectes and RFR in Paris and Baumschlager–Eberle in Austria.

At Architectus Severin has worked with public and private clients on a diverse range of projects, including housing, workplace, infrastructure, civic and master planning.
