A Collection of Rooms Connecting People and Ideas.

3 June 2010

Architectus builds up its position as a leader in the education sector with the University of Aucklands selecting Architectus' proposal for its new Science Centre. The building will be located at the corner of Wellesley and Symonds Street and will form part of  the Science Cluster in Sector 300. The 11 storey tall structure will mark the gateway into the Universities City Campus and will offer a "window into the life at the University" for passers-by. Architectus have organised the 22,000m2 programme around a series of staggered internal "rooms" which will create a flexible environment for research, learning and interdisciplinary communication.

Architectus is currently also working on the refurbishment of the adjacent Building 303 and is acting as the Universities consultant for the Learning Quarter Plan Change.
