Architectus won the design competition for 20 000 m² of new contemporary teaching, learning and sporting facilities at Cranbrook School, Bellevue Hill, Sydney.

As the School enters its second century this project provides the opportunity to positively shape the Bellevue Hill campus’s social and physical environment.

The objective is to create an intersection of activities, communal endeavours and built form that will nurture and foster students in their formative years, establishing the habits and culture of well-being throughout their future lives.

The project comprises teaching and learning spaces, learning and dining commons, multi-use assembly hall, chapel, indoor basketball courts, gymnasium, an indoor Olympic sized competition swimming pool, an underground car park and significant landscape architecture. 

The project is being undertaken as a State Significant Development Application.
