At the NZIA Auckland Architecture Awards on 12 October 2011 Architectus received awards across a number of categories. The awarded projects were: Wynyard Quarter Urban Design Framework (Planning and Urban Design); Telecom Place (Commercial Architecture); New Lynn Transit-Orientated Development (Public Architecture); and Aotea Square Redevelopment - Architectural Elements (Public Architecture).
Awards jury convenor, architect Gary Lawson commented, "We were presented with a very high standard of work across many building types and scales. One stand-out feature was the significant number of impressive public and commercial projects in the central city area."
