Severin graduated from Innsbruck Technical University in 1996 and subsequently gained his Masters degree at The Bartlett in London, under the direction of Peter Cook from Archigram. He brings to Architectus 10 years of international work experience on a variety of projects.
Before joining Architectus Auckland in 2005 Severin worked as a project leader in the offices of Future Systems (UK) and Baumschlager-Eberle (AUT).
Severin's international experience ranges from small-scale bespoke projects to large scale developments. He has worked on a variety of projects across Europe for private and public clients.
While working in professional practices Severin has always stayed involved with the academic side of the profession. His research has been funded by the Austrian Academy of Science and won him the biannual award for Experimental Tendencies in Architecture by the Austrian government.
At Architectus Severin has over the years worked on a variety of projects ranging in scale from residential houses, medium and large commercial developments to urban masterplans, as well as many design competitions.
