Korowa Anglican Girls’ School, Cripps Centre

The Cripps Centre at Korowa Anglican Girls' School is a purpose built middle school designed to create the very best in educational environments for girls in years 5 to 8. Nestled between the gymnasium, senior school and the significant existing mature trees the new facilities create a link at the upper levels.

Architectus' holistic environmental design approach for the Cripps Centre resulted in a building that is flexible, adaptable, environmentally sound, comfortable and healthy.

The learning spaces embrace the tree tops and make the landscape a part of the total learning experience while giving the students a much greater appreciation of the world through the long distance view towards the Dandenongs.

The building provides 11 learning spaces, three large common rooms, amenities and staff offices over three levels and is conceived as a flexible education building embracing environmental initiatives.
